Power evangelism is little bit hard to read, it was written in 1980’s and shows values of those times. Wimber talks about modern day miracles, power of the prayer and many other things like church revival movement of 1960’s.
It has touch of controversal issues such as guided programme to de-gay or de-homosexsualise men which sort of reminded me of Brian Tamaki and Destiny movement. But Wimber is gifted writer and I really had no major objections about most issues he raised on this book. Part autobiographical essays on himself and commentary of 1960- mid 1980’s growth of the Vineyard movement.
