MountainView Vineyard
Welcome!
At MountainView Vineyard you will find a bunch of people who desire to hear the words, see the works and experience the presence of Jesus. As the ministry of Jesus Christ was contemporary to the society of His day, we also seek to reach our generation through a contemporary model of worship and ministry.
We do this by “being Jesus with skin on”, getting outside of our church building and being involved with our community, Stratford, and the surrounding district.

Outside of Sunday meetings we serve our community by running:
- Music4Kidz – Pre-school music and movement programme every Wednesday, two sessions starting at 9:30am & 10:30 am at War Memorial Hall, Stratford.
- Gr8Kidz – Childcare and learning centre, 7:30am – 5:30pm at 27 Swansea Rd, Stratford
- Kidz.com – After school OSCAR programme every school day, 2:30pm – 5:30pm at church building (see map below for details)
- Find – Intermediate group (11-13years) every Thursday, 4:00pm – 5:30pm at church building
- Uprising – Youth group (13+ years) every Wednesday, 7:30pm – 9:00pm at church building + regular event calendar
As well as running these regular programmes, we host the annual Light Party for Stratford which has grown into a very successful event each year seeing hundreds of kids turnout.

Our Sunday service is 10:30am at the church building and we would love to see you there!
On top of this, we have these more focused groups:
- The Armoury – Men’s home group fortnightly Tuesday (alternate to Grace), 7:30pm at 6 Achilles St, Stratford
- Grace – Women’s home group fortnightly Tuesday (alternate to The Armoury), 7:30pm at 80 Pembroke Rd, Stratford
- Focus – A home group which goes deeper, looking at specific topics in a series-based format on fortnightly Thursdays, 7:30pm at 75 Celia St, Stratford
- Prayer meeting – Monday, 7:00pm at church building
What’s ahead?
2010 is a big year for us! We purchased land in 2009 and this year we plan to build our new home on it – this will be terrific as it will bring all our community programmes under one purpose-built roof, and also provide some much-needed space for our full Sunday service.
We are a church that is full of people who love God, and love his people – inside the church, and outside. We invite you to come along to seek His Kingdom and to build His church, to bless what He is blessing, to love what He loves, and to give ourselves away freely.
