Mahurangi Vineyard
Welcome!

Welcome to the beautiful coastal paradise of Mahurangi, just an hours drive north east of Auckland but a million miles away in terms of lifestyle and pace of life! Mahurangi Vineyard is like one big church family – with age groups represented from young to old. The church was started in the 80’s by Lloyd & Vicky Rankin and is currently growing from strength to strength under the leadership of Lyndon & Angela Reiff. We can best be described as being a people who are…
- Loving God
- Loving People
- Loving Life

Our intention is to be a people who authentically love and follow Jesus and His teachings. This means we are committed to helping people in our community and beyond to experience God’s love and discover the freedom that comes from relationship with Him. We do this practically through…
- Kids Programs – partnering with parents to grow kids who follow Jesus
- Creche – Sunday mornings for 1 to 5 year olds.
- Tribe – our pumping Sunday morning program for kids Year 1 – 8.
- Youth – a large vibrant growing youth group for teens.
- VIVID for Year 7 & 8
- RIOT for Year 9 & 10
- RIOT SQUAD for Year 11 & up
- Grow Groups – weekly home based bible study groups for building closer relationships.
- Out of the Box Food Parcels Service for families who are in need in our community.
- Mum’s and Toddlers Coffee Mornings – weekly time out for mum’s in the community where they can connect and be encouraged.
- Light Party – a community alternative to Halloween for kids.
- Christmas at the Beach – an annual community wide Christmas celebration with picnic dinner, games and carols at Snells Beach.
- Missions – Freeset, India – supporting prayerfully & financially a family in their long term work to free women trapped in prostitution in Kolkata, India.
- Springboard Community Trust – reaching the community through hands on practical help like mentoring, counseling and working with Police and the Courts with the youth offending program.
- Impact – an alternative education school for adolescents who aren’t making it in the main stream school system.

Individually, we’re encouraged to seek and learn from God in order to become the people He intended, a people who are transformed and characterised by love, peace, forgiveness and compassion. Our aim is to be a people of prayer with hearts of worship who are thankful to Jesus for the extravagant and undeserved gift of eternal life through Him.

So what does the future hold for us? Our future vision is to continue to grow individually and as a church as we support one another, and reach out to our community. If this sounds like your kind of place – we’d love to have you join us Sunday mornings at 10am in the Mahurangi Community Centre, Hamatana Road, Snells Beach.
