TEAM BUILDING
Be clear about the function of each team member – eg, worship, drama, teaching on whatever, giving a testimony – AND what the expectations of each team member are: duties such as tidying up the accommodation, packing up after sessions, taking initiative in looking for things to do (eg, if you have nothing to do you are expected to be willing to assist other team members unless you are on a designated rest period).

Team building will happen as you meet for training, as you pray together for each other, for the people, community and nation you are going to. Have a few meals that are the food of the place you are going to – restaurant or make it yourselves. Learn to eat like they eat – with hands, chopsticks, standing up, sitting on the floor. Learn what is considered polite THERE.
